Ernie Yake Named to Frosh All American Team

Gonzaga third baseman Ernie Yake has been named to the 2018 Collegiate Baseball Freshmen All American Team. News of the honor for the former Squalicum High School and Bellingham Bells star was released Wednesday and will appear in the June 15th edition of Collegiate Baseball
Yake was a second team West Coast Conference pick and a member of the All-Freshmen team in the league. He hit .322 with 15 doubles and 25 RBI's for the Bulldogs.

Gonzaga went 33-and-24 this year, advancing to the regional round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs season ended Sunday. Yake is expected to play for the Bells again this season.
