“It’s not everyday you get to rub shoulders with an athlete as talented as LaVine," said Slam GM/Co-Coach Kip Leonetti. "It was a real pleasure to just sit back and watch him do his thing. Guys like Zach make a coach’s job easy at the pro-am.”

Bellingham jumped out to a 33-to-12 first quarter lead and never looked back. The largest lead was 39 points and the lead never got lower than 17 in the second-half. It was the third straight victory for the Slam.

Bellingham's Mike Scott went for 28 points, Suki Wiggs added 18 and Paul Hafford went for 12. Elijah Hardy led Ball is Life with 33 points.

The Slam are back in action Sunday against Cityside Hoops at 4:30pm.
