1A Districts: 3 local prep baseball teams still alive

Three Whatcom County prep baseball teams will be in action today in the 1A bi-district tournament chasing after one final state playoff spot. Meridian, Lynden Christian and Nooksack Valley will join South Whidbey in loser-out games today at Joe Martin Field and Sehome High School.
Meridian battles Nooksack Valley at 12:30pm at Joe Martin Field. At the same time Lynden Christian squares off with South Whidbey at Sehome High School. The winners will meet in the 3rd/4th place game at Sehome. The winner of that game will claim the final spot out of the district in the regional round of 1A State.
The bi-district championship game between Cedar Park Christian and University Prep is scheduled for 2:30pm at Joe Martin Field.
