Bells Return to WCL Play in Yakima

June 29, 2018

The Bellingham Bells return to West Coast League action tonight. The Bells open a 3-game series versus the Yakima Pippins at Yakima County Stadium.

Fresh off an off-day Thursday, Bellingham is red-hot. The Bells are 9-and-1 over their last 10 WCL contests. At 15-and-6 they are in first place in the North Division and have the best record in the league.

Bellingham won two non-league home games this week, beating the Seattle Wallbangers 13-2 Tuesday and the Highline Bears 8-0 Wednesday.

Yakima (10-11) is five games behind Bellingham in the division. The Pippins are coming off a home series victory over Cowlitz, winning decisive game 3 on Thursday 6-to-3.

Nick Nastrini goes to the hill for the Bells. Cullen Kafka gets the call for the Pippins. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35pm.
