Bells Look for Series Win in Victoria

After an offensive explosion Saturday night, the Bellingham Bells are looking for a series victory today in Victoria. The Bells play the final game of a 3-game set very the HarbourCats at Royal Athletic Park. 

The Bells used a 15-hit barrage to pound Victoria 10-2 Saturday. Connor Mack hit his first home run of the season for Bellingham, while Zach Needham, Michael Petrie and Matt James combined for 6 RBI's in the win. 

Right-hander Theron Kay picked up the win in middle relief to improve to 2-and-0 on the season with a minuscule 0.65 ERA. Po-Jui Huang (1-3; 7.11 ERA) suffered the loss for Victoria.

 

With the victory, the Bells (14-6) increase their lead over the second-place HarbourCats (9-8) to 3.5 games in the WCL North Division. 

Bellingham's Ben Leeper will try for his third win of the season today versus Tyler Hilton for Victoria. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05pm.
