District Championship: Kings 3 Lynden Christian 2 

South Whidbey 3 Meridian 2 (loser out) 

Nooksack Valley 3 Coupeville 2 (loser out) 

3rd/4th place: Nooksack Valley 3 South Whidbey 1 

Two Whatcom County girls volleyball teams advanced to the Bi-District tournament. King's wins the District 1 championship over Lynden Christian 3-2. The Lyncs and Knights will be seeds No. 1 & 2 respectively when the Bi-District Tournament begins next week. 

Meridian's season came to an end courtesy of the eventual 4 seed South Whidbey 3-2. Nooksack Valley advanced as the 3 seed with victories over Coupevill & South Whidbey 

2A 

Bellingham 3 Lakewood 0 (loser out) 

Anacortes 3 Sehome 0 (loser out)

Sedro Woolley 3 Cedarcrest 0 (loser out)

Archbishop Murphy 3 Sammamish 1 (loser out)

Bellingham moved on to the second round of the 2A district tournament with 3-0 victory over Lakewood. The Red Raiders will play Lynden on Thursday. Sehome was swept out of the tournament by Anacortes. 

Girls Soccer

2A

Semifinals: Sehome 3 Archbishop Murphy 2 

Semifinals: Liberty 1 Cedarcrest 0 

Bellingham 2 Lynden 1 (loser out) 

Burlington 2 Sedro-Woolley 0 (loser out) 

Sehome is on to the 2A District championship. The Mariners punched their ticket to state with a 1 goal margin victory over Archbishop Murphy. They will play Liberty Saturday at 5:30pm at Sedro-Woolley High School for the district title.

 

Bellingham is one step closer to state. the Red Raiders knocked Lynden out of the tournament 2-1. Bellingham will play Archbishop Murphy in a loser out/winner to state match Saturday at 1:00pm at Sedro-Woolley High School. 

3A 

Semifinals: Snohomish 4 Squalicum 3 

Semifinals: Shorewood 2 Edmonds-Woodway 1 

Arlington 3 Stanwood 0 (loser out) 

Shorecrest 4 Meadowdale 0 (loser out) 

Squalicum came up short in the semifinals falling 4-3 to Snohomish at Shoreline Stadium in Seattle. The Storm now face a loser out/winner to state match versus Shorecrest Thursday at 7pm at Shoreline Stadium.
