Season ends for Sehome & Meridian Baseball

The Sehome and Meridian baseball teams were knocked out of their respective state tournaments with regional losses on Saturday. Meridian fell 1-0 to defending 1A state champion King's Way Christian in Castle Rock. After winning their first game 6-5 over R.A. Long, the Mariners lost to Ellensburg 14-1 at Auburn High School.
Meridian finishes the year with a record of 16-9, while Sehome warps up with a mark of 18-8.
In other regional round action involving Northwest Conference teams Burlington (19-5) lost 5-4 to Highline at Joe Martin Field.
