October 18, 2019

Bellingham High School football coach Ted Flint has been named High School Coach of the Week by the Seattle Seahawks. Each week during the prep season, the Seahawks and the Washington State Football Coaches Association honor two high school football coaches.

Flint has led the Red Raiders (5-2) to five straight victories, including a big 17-to-7 road win over Mountlake Terrace last week.

"It means that the team played hard and played well and won an important game," said Flint. "And the coaches did a good job planning to help win the game. It's all the coaches', all the players' award."
