Softball: Seasons end for Sehome & Mt. Baker

After dominating on day 1 of 2A state, the Sehome fastpitch softball team ran into trouble on Saturday. The Mariners lost both games atCarlon Park in Selah, including their semifinal match-up with Ellensburg, ending their season.
Ellensburg used a 5-run 5th inning to end the semifinal match-up early, beating Sehome 12-2 in 5 innings. The Mariners tried to bounce back chasing after third place in the consolation bracket, but fell to Selah 12-5.
Sehome ends the year with a record of 22-and-4. Ellensburg and Selah finished 2nd and 4th respectively.

4th: Selah
In 1a action at Columbia Playfield in Richland, the Mount Baker softball team lost to Warden 13-2 in a loser out contest in the consolation bracket. The Mountaineers finished the season at 18-and-9.
