Whatcom County Fans Need to Head South for the 12 Tour

May 21, 2018

The Seattle Seahawks 12 Tour is underway, but Whatcom County fans will need to head elsewhere to catch up with their favorite NFL team. The team announced dates for the tour late last week and unlike other years, a stop in Bellingham was not on the list.

According to Seahawks.com the 12 Tour, which began in Kelso on Sunday, is on the road through Saturday the 26th. Players, Sea Gals and mascots Blitz & Boom will be making stops through the Pacific Northwest. Scheduled stops include Chehalis, North Bend, Port Angeles and Olympia.

The website lists the following dates and times for stops this week:

May 24th 7-9pm
Olympic Peninsula Sea Hawkers Chapter Event

The Front Street Alibi 1605 E Front St, Port Angeles, WA 98362

May 25th 4-5pm

Olympia: Blue Friday Rally

Flag Circle 416 Sid Snyder Ave SW Olympia, WA 98504

May 26th 10am -12pm
Snohomish: Gatorade Youth Football Camp

Snohomish High School - 1316 5th St, Snohomish, WA 98290

Bellingham and Whatcom County have played host to the 12 Tour for all of those type of events in the past, most recently back last year. In 2017, running back C.J. Procise and offensive lineman Joey Hunt met with season ticket holders at Bellis Fair Mall and lead a pep rally and ceremonial 12 flag raising at Fairhaven Movie Night.

While it appears unlikely for a return visit this year, the Seahawks' website does say "The Seahawks crew will also be making several surprise visits to various Starbucks locations throughout the state, as well as to schools in Coulee City, Shelton, Bremerton and more."

For more information on the 12 Tour visit the tour schedule page on Seahawks.com.  You can register your child for Saturday's Gatorade Youth Football Camp here.
