NWC Future Stars Rosters Released

March 13, 2019 

The young basketball talent of the Northwest Conference will be on display Friday at Jake Maberry Gymnasium in Lynden. The rosters for the NWC Future Stars Game have been released. 

The event features the top juniors and sophomores from Whatcom and Skagit County. 

Two players from the 2A state champion Lynden Lions, in Brock Hepner and Liam Hannenberg, highlight the boys roster. Other noted local players include All NWC honorees Andrew DeVries of Lynden Christian and Squalicum's Devante Powell. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The girls roster features four players from the 1A state runners up. Lynden christian will be represented by Emily Mellema, Lexie Hernandez, Kiley Roetcisoender and Libby Stump. Other locals include All-NWC first teamers Keylie Hershey and Ruby VanderHaak of Lynden and Jolee Sipma from Meridian. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The girls game begins at 7:00pm with the boys game to follow at 8:30pm.
