NWC 2A: Sehome's Beason & Roberts Honored

A turnaround season has earned the Sehome Mariners football squad some top honors. Kevin Beason has been named the Northwest Conference 2A Coach of the Year and running back Dylan Roberts is the Lake Division Most Valuable Player of the Year. 

Burlington RB Axel Wilhonen is the Sky Division Most Valuable Player of the year. The assistant coach of the year goes to Lynden's Ed Bomber. 

Beason, in just his second year as head coach, led Sehome to a 7-and-4 record, a share of the Lake Division title and a trip to the state tournament for the first time since 2013.
