More Honors for Bajema, WIAA Athlete of the Week
Lynden Christian forward Cole Bajema continues to rack up the trophies, awards and honors. The junior is one of 12 Athlete of the Week award winners courtesy of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association.
Bajema helped the Lyncs to a 1A State Championship in an 82-45 victory over Freeman Saturday in Yakima's SunDome. He was named the tournament MVP after posting 21 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, two blocks and two assists in the title game.
Bajema was also named the All-Northwest Conference Boys Most Valuable Player on Monday.
