Anacortes guard Tyler Blouin to play at WCC

April 4, 2018

A Skagit County high school hoop star is heading north to continue his career. Anacortes guard Tyler Blouin has signed to play for Whatcom Community College this fall.

The Orcas announced the addition via their WCC Athletics account on Instagram April 2nd.

"#OrcaNation Men's Basketball is excited to announce the addition of Tyler Blouin from Anacortes High School.
Tyler brings a versatile offensive skillset, along with a bulldog mentality on defense! We look forward to seeing him in action this fall."

Blouin helped Anacortes to a 20-and-3 overall record and a 12-and-1 Northwest Conference mark for a share of the conference title this past season. He was named All=Northwest Conference second team.

The 6-footer played in 22 games and averaged 15 points per game during his senior season according to stats compiled by GoSkagit.com.

Blouin joins a WCC squad that went 13-and-15 last season just missing out on the NWAC playoffs.
