March 15, 2019

Four local star players will be in action at the The Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association All-State Games. The rosters for the WIBCA All-State Games, featuring the top seniors from around the state, were released Friday.

Lynden Christian's Cole Bajema and Cristian Colwell will play on the 1A squad while Lynden's Clayton Whitman and Christian Zamora will play for the 2A's.  The teams battle each other as part of three games scheduled to be played March 23rd at Curtis High School.

After just winning a second straight state championship, Lynden boys coach Brian Roper will lead the 2A squad. Tim Kelly of Curtis High School will coach the 1A team.

Whitman and Bajema were both named WIBCA players of the year for their respective classifications earlier this month. Other players of the year winners Brock Ravet (2B Kittitas) and Shaw Anderson (3A Kelso) will play as well.
