Bellingham Bells fall to Sweets in 13 Innings

It took 13 innings for the Walla Walla to avoid a sweep at Joe Martin Field Wednesday night. The Sweets erupted for 4 runs in the top of the 13th to beat the Bellingham Bells 5-1. 

Bellingham (3-2) tallied their lone run in the 4th as Cole Joy scored off an error. Walla Walla (2-4) tied up the game at 1-1 in the 7th inning of another pitchers duel between the two teams. 

The Bells play the Corvallis Knights at home tonight. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm. Grand Canyon University right-hander Nick Hull is scheduled to get the start for Bellingham.
