State Soccer: Sehome on to Quarterfinals

The Sehome boys soccer team is moving on to the quarterfinals 2A State. The Mariners (16-1-3) downed Port Angeles 3-1 Tuesday night at Civic Stadium in Bellingham.
Sehome will play the winner of Wednesday's Woodland/Sequim match this weekend in the quarterfinal round.
In other Tuesday 2A state tournament action, Burlington's season came to an end. The Tigers lost to Franklin Pierce on penalty kicks 3-1.
The Squalicum boys soccer squad opens up play in the 3A state tournament Wednesday. The Storm will battle Lakeside at 5:00pm at Interlay Stadium in Seattle.
Squalicum (13-2-4) comes into the match having lost only once in their last 10 outings. Lakeside, the No. 2 seed out of district 2 sports a record of 13-0-5 on the year.
The winner will play Stadium this weekend in the 3A state semifinals.
