Streaking Bellingham Bells Win 6th Straight

June 20, 2018 

The Bellingham Bells keep winning and adding to their West Coast League best record. The Bells won their 6th straight Tuesday night, downing the Cowlitz Black Bears 6-4 on the road. 

Cole Joy posted a three-hit night for Bellingham. Jordan Stoner and Landen Kimbro each had 2RBI's in the Bells victory. 

Middle reliever Ben Leeper (2-0, 7.71 ERA) picked up his second victory of the season. Taylor Davis closed things out in the 9th for his 4th save of the season. 

 

Matt Gannon takes the loss for Cowlitz (7-9). The Black Bears have now dropped 4 straight. 

The two teams are it again tonight. Bellingham hands the ball to Wesley Moore (0-0; 2.34 ERA) to battle against Seth Rayburn (0-1; 6.75 ERA) for Cowlitz. First pitch at Story Field is scheduled for 6:35pm.
