Bellingham Slam Depth Leads to 4th Straight Win

July 30, 2019

Make it 4 straight victories for the Bellingham Slam. Bellingham beat Cityside Hoops 100-80 Sunday in The Crawsover Seattle Pro-Am at Royal Brougham Pavilion.

Bellingham found most of their scoring form a deep bench. Starter Jordan Hamilton scored 22 points to lead the Slam, while reserves Trazil Lane and Mitch Brewe added 15 and 13 points respectively.

“It was great to see us be successful even when our top scorers had an off night. I think it really speaks to our depth when guys like Jordan Hamilton and Trazil Lane can come through with solid contributions," said Slam GM/Co-Coach Kip Leonetti. "With four wins in a row now, it looks like this group is really hitting its stride as we head into the second half of the season.”

Drew Eubanks led Cityisde Hoops with 20 points. Former NBA swingman Martell Webster went for a double-double of 18 points and 22 rebounds.

The Slam held Citywide to just 34% shooting overall and 21% from 3-point land in the victory.

Bellingham is off until August 11th when they take on Team Adidas at 3:00pm.
