Season Ends for Bellingham United FC with Playoff Loss

A hard fought playoff loss Sunday has ended the season for Bellingham United FC. Washington Premier beat the Hammers 3-2 in a Evergreen Premier League Washington semifinal match in Puyallup. 

Brandon Madsen did all the offensive damage for Washington Premier. The EPLWA's leading scorer tallied all three goals, scoring in the 30th minute, the 49th minute on a penalty kick and in the 68th minute. 

Richard Henderson scored for Bellingham in the 42nd minute on a penalty kick. Luke Olney capped off the scoring for BUFC, finding the back of the net in the 90th minute. 

Bellingham United FC ends the year with a 5-5-1 record. 

Washington Premier (10-1-0) advances to the EPLWA championship final versus the defending champion Seattle Stars (8-2-1) the weekend of July 28-29th.
