Evan Kingma led the way for Sehome. The senior picked up the complete game victory on the mound, giving up just 3 hits and striking out 7.

Anacortes got on the board first with an unearned run in the first inning. Sehome responded with 2 runs in the 3rd and despite leaving 11 runners on base, never trailed again.   Josh Manson paced the attack going 3-for-4 with 2 singles, a double, 2 RBI's and a run scored.

"Like I told the kids after game...I'm so proud of you. We were on our heels that first inning and you guys didn't put your head down, you didn't quit. You kept fighting and came back," said Sehome head coach Monte Walton. "It's just a heckuva job by everyone and of course Evan was pretty dominant I thought."

The win, Sehome's 10th in a row, snapped a 19-win streak for Anacortes. Pitcher Lincoln Guilden took the loss for the Seahawks. He went just over 3 innings before moving to the outfield after aggravating a wrist injury.
