Bells open road trip at Cowlitz tonight

June 19, 2018

The Bellingham Bells will put their West Coast League best record (10-5) on the line tonight as they open up a three game road series in Longview. The Bells will play the Cowlitz Black Bears  at Story Field.

Bellingham, winners of 5 straight, is starting a 6-game road swing . The Bells just wrapped up a weekend sweep of the Portland Pickles with a 3-2 victory on Sunday at Joe Martin Field.

Cowlitz (7-8) has lost 3 in a row. They were swept by the Corvallis Knights at Goss Stadium this past weekend.

Righty Peter Kemble out of the University of Maine will get the start for the Bells. Lefty Matt Gannon hits the mound for the Black Bears. The first pitch is scheduled for 6:35pm.
