McCormick's Grand Slam leads Bells to Victory

Griffin McCormick's 9th inning grand slam home run highlighted a come-from-behind 10-6 road win for the Bellingham Bells over Port Angeles Sunday night. The Bells erupted for 7 runs in the final frame to salvage the final game of their 3-game set versus the Lefties. 

 

Bellingham's Theron Kay was credited with the victory and Taylor Davis closed out the 9th inning securing the win, despite surrendering 2 runs. 

Other hitting stars for the Bells include Guthrie Morrison who went 3-for-6 with 2 runs scored and Jordan Stoner who posted a 2-for-4 night with 2 RBI's and 1 run scored. 

Bellingham improves to 5-and-4 on the year. Port Angeles drops to 6-and-3 after their 5-game win streak comes to an end. 

After an off day Monday the Bells will open a three-game road series versus the Bend Elks at Vince Genna Stadium in Bend, Oregon.
