NWC 1A Football Teams Move Week 9 Games

With the regular season quickly coming to an end the four 1A football teams in the Northwest Conference have moved up their week 9 games by a day. Mount Baker, Meridian, Lyncen Christian and Nooksack Valley are all now scheduled to play on Thursday, October 25th.
Playing a day earlier allows the teams a extra day to prepare for any possible play-in games the following week. The Pioneers will visit the Mountaineers and the Lyncs are at the Trojans in week 9.
Currently Mount Baker (5-2) and Meridian (5-2) are tied for first place in the NWC 1A with 3-and-1 conference records. Lynden Christian (5-2, 2-2) and Nooksack Valley (3-4, 0-4) are third and fourth.
