Meridian QB Dawson Logan Wins WIAA Athlete of the Week Honors

Meridian quarterback Dawson Logan has been named as a Washington Interscholastic Activities Association Athlete of the Week. The senior takes home the honor in the 1A boys ranks as part of 10 student-athletes honored by the WIAA Wednesday.
Logan led Meridian to a 35-20 victory against Lynden Christian last Friday. He totaled 232 yards and four touchdowns on the ground and threw for 150 yards (on 16-of 28-passing) and a touchdown. On defense, Logan registered two tackles and two pass break ups.
The Trojans (4-2) are back in action October 12th when they host Nooksack Valley. You can hear the game on The Doug Lange Network beginning at 6:45pm.
