Ferndale's Sandstorm Named All-NWAC 2nd team

Former Ferndale High School baseball star Kyle Sandstorm has been honored by the Northwest Athletic Conference. The sophomore at Lower Columbia College was named to the All-NWAC second team.
The outfielder finished 12th in the conference with .358 batting average. He added 2 home runs and 22 RBI's in 39 games for the Red Devils.
Lower Columbia won the NWAC championship Monday with a 7-5 victory over Yakima Valley. Sandstorm, who scored a run in the win, was named to the All-Tournament team.
