WWU's Oliveri Transferring to Whatcom CC

May 21, 2018

Western Washington University forward Dominick Oliveri is transferring to Whatcom Community College. WCC Associate Head Coach Michael Wade announced the move via Twitter Monday:

"Big week for WCC Men’s Basketball as we add NCAA DII transfer,
Dominick Oliveri to our program for the 2018-19 season. This kid
has HUGE upside, I’m looking forward to being part of his journey!"

After redshirting in 2016-17, Oliveri played in seven games averaging 4.4 minutes and 1.1 points per game last year as a freshman for the Vikings.  The 6-foot-8-inch big man attended Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane and was named First Team All-Greater Spokane League as a senior.
