Busy Thursday for WWU Volleyball & Soccer

Volleyball & soccer take center stage for Western Washington University. All three squads will be in action in California.
The 15th ranked Western volleyball team concludes the non-conference portion of the 2018 schedule this weekend with four matches at the 2018 D2 West Region Volleyball Showcase in Azusa, California. It begins with two matches Thursday for the Vikings (1-3) against #9 Cal State San Bernardino at 10:45am and host Azuza Pacific at 7:45pm.
The WWU women's soccer team opens the 2018 season this weekend. The 7th ranked Vikings take on Point Loma at 4:30pm at the PLNU Soccer Field in San Diego Thursday. then it's a showdown with No. 5 UC San Diego on Saturday at Triton Soccer Stadium.
The WWU men's soccer team begins their non-conference schedule today. The Vikings face Sonoma State at Seawolf Soccer Stadium in Rohnert Park, CA at 5:00pm. WWU travels to Chico State on Saturday.
