Bellingham United Wins Preseason Opener

Bellingham United F.C. came up a winner this weekend in their first preseason match of the year. The Hammers blanked Tacoma Narrows 3-0 Saturday at the Phillips 66 Soccer Park.
Eduardo Perez scored all three goals for BUFC. Christian Caro registered 2 assists while Jared Davis supplied 1 assist.
It's a quick turnaround for the Hammers. They will host US Navy soccer at Phiilips 66 Tuesday at 8:00pm in a another preseason tune-up.
Bellingham United will open up the Evergreen Premier League Washington regular season May 4th when they host the Oly Town Artesians. The 10-week season will wrap up July 14th with the semifinals scheduled for the weekend of July 20th/21st and the championship match on the weekend of July 27th/28th.
The Hammers just missed advancing to the EPLWA championship final last year, losing by a goal to the eventual champion Washington Premier in the semifinals.
